Improvement

R says the pain is nearly completely gone after the biopsy surgery. (He's thrilled to be off painkillers) He's still feeling nauseous and feverish on a pretty regular basis, but overall his health has improved and he's looking forward to starting chemo on Monday.

He is still coughing up a bit of blood. I will be glad when those tumors are gone, so they will stop causing bleeding in the lungs.

Hi Vic, Pam, Ross and Janie,

I was really saddened to hear of Ross's condition and also sad to hear of the gravity of it. Even though we are so far apart, you are next to my heart. As I listen to my little kids play together lately, it brought me back to the closeness that you and I used to have, Vic, and how we did everything together. I miss you and wish I could be there with you to stand beside you through this piece of this earthly purification process.

May God hold all of your hearts in the hollow of His hand. May His Holy Spirit descend upon you all and upon the doctors in whom you must put your earthly trust. Sometimes the miracles are ones of physical healing and sometimes they are inner miracles that we didn't even know we needed, but God is a God of miracles nontheless. I believe in the power of our intentions, thoughts and prayers. They are all linked to the Power that directs this universe. Submission to that Power can be both terrifying and totally liberating, all in the same heartbeat. May your hearts and minds be enlightened to see the path and choices clearly so that Ross can be healed and continue to live this life. I miss you and love you all.

Forever,
Roxy
